Accountant for tax declaration
Hi,
I have searched here for some accountants to help with the tax declaration. Unfortunately the 2 I found here and contacted are not returning my calls. Can anyone thus recommend an english speaking accountant in Brussels? Please if so, provide contact details
Thanks in advance for all answers
On the front of the tax form below the fold and on the right you will see an address with 'open from x to y (in June from x to z)'.
Go there with all the relevant paperwork and they will fill the form in for you, they will get it correct and the service is free. And you will know from the outset how much you will have to pay extra or be refunded and when.
Whether they will speak English is anyone's guess - mine do without being asked or it being necessary. Taking a Dutch/French speaking friend has got to be a lot cheaper than paying an accountant.
Someone else with more money than sense. Never mind, between them the accountant and the fisc will soon reduce your available assets. You can't avoid the fisc taking its due share but, unless you are self-employed, you can avoid the cost of using an accountant.
Most professionally qualified accountants will be able to speak English.
Find one local you to in the yellow pages and go and see them.
I suspect the reason that you don't have any answers here is that few people use accountants for personal tax filings. They either do it themselves, or they go to the tax office and have them provide tax advice for free as has already been suggested.
Notwithstanding the above, I can recommend these guys;

Last year I used Maxime Renard, Abatis, Avenue de Tervuren. He spoke English and was quick and good for me.
