AC/DC to perform at festival in Belgium on 9 August
Australian hard rock band AC/DC have announced a European tour that includes a stop in Belgium, reports Belga.
The band will take the stage at the Stenehei Festivalpark in Dessel, announced organiser Live Nation. It will be their first performance in Belgium for eight years.
During the Power Up tour, the Australians will play 21 European concerts. Tickets for the concert in Dessel, Antwerp Province, go on sale on 16 February at 10.00. The ticket price is €159.
British rocker Brian Johnson, the lead singer of AC/DC, made a surprise visit to Belgium last year to see his statue unveiled in Namur. It commemorated the first concert of the band’s ‘Back in Black’ tour, which took place at Namur Expo on 29 June 1980. It was also Johnson's first concert with the Australian band.
