Advice donating English books
I think the school of our kids (Atheneum Etterbeek) could be very happy with some of them for their English library. I can ask them if you like.
You could try this shop which has 3 branches. I think they may buy them. But it's best to ask them what they are prepared to take first.

On the other hand, you could donate them to the Salvation Army, Bvd. d'Ypres near the canal where they have a warehouse with shops where they sell on goods for very little money. I took English books there.
I am retired and an avid reader.
I would be happy to take your books off your hands.
When I have read books, if they are in good condition, I offer them to my local library, otherwise they go to the charity book sale at Stonemanor.
Please contact me at kasseistamper AT yahoo DOT co DOT uk if you would like me to collect them.
Red Cross on rue de Stalle in Uccle also take all donations of books in all languages. They collect them all the time - go to the garage entrance at the back of the site for drop-off - and when they have enough they run a big book sale for their funds.
