Age Apprenticeships in Belgium

I saw on several "formation" pages that many trades can be learned as an apprentice here in Belgium. In general, the minimum age is 15 (18 for chef d'entreprise). Many of these have no maximum age, I've asked the places and they seem to confirm that.

My question is, while there is no max age, would a 30 year old looking to follow the butchery path end up surrounded by 18 year-olds? Would I even be considered by prospective employers to apprentice with?
