Allergy to peanuts

We just found out that my son (21 months old) has a severe allergy to peanuts. It seems that this allergy is not so well-known here and it is difficult to find information about foods for example.
I am wondering if it is a good idea that he wears an emergency bracelet but I don't know where to get them in French and English etc.
I was wondering if anybody knows of a support network in Belgium that can help out with this.
He is starting creche on Monday so I need a crash course on this.
