another naturalisation question

I applied for naturalisation in Feb 2011, and have recently been told "one more year" for the final determination.

However, in 2013, I need to return to my home country for 3-4 months in order to handle family matters. I plan to take a "time credit" sabbatical for this, meaning my job in BE will be held.

1) do you think this short-term absence will jeopardize the pending application?
2) will I need to maintain a BE residence (i.e. mailing address) during this time?
