Apartment Renovations

Hi,

Used used this guy, actually a two guys (bothers) to renovate my apartment I moved into recently. Basically it looked like it had not been painted in 25 years and the worn carpet was some psychedelic 70s throwback.

Basically they stripped the walls of the paper, skimmed with plaster and re-papered and painted white. They stripped the wood floor with a sander and stained and varnished. Also built and installed some fitted shelves, and fitted new lampshades, which I had bought from a vintage shop. He can also do basic plumbing and electric jobs (new wall plug points etc)

I'm very happy with the job, the rental value of the flat has now probably gone up 30%.

He spoke perfect English and his team was very reliable and he took me around to search materials getting me the best prices. He got the job done in the time he said.
