Babysitting fees

I don't have kids, but according to Babysitters.be, it depends on how many kids there are: One child, between €4 and €6. For two children, €6 to €8. For three or more, €8 to €10.

Seems rather cheap, when I used to BBsit I charged and received 12 euros per hour..I've a friend in town asking 8 euros per/hr (plus her metro card per month)

Second TheMissus - minimum 8 EUR / h, mostly 8 - 10 E/h + STIB or taxi costs, if late night return.
Even not teenagers work for 4- 6 EUR / h anymore.

an interesting conversation in my office suggests that there is a difference between rates charged by belgian teens and those charged by expat teens, particularly in the brussels area.

If children are wake pay more to get them properly entertained. I think10€ is about going rate from what I was told. There were some schemes that operated where you went via a baby sitting group and paid a set rate and always got someone at least there was in overijse
