Bach Concert - Minimes Cantat

Each of our two September cantatas expresses in its own way an eloquent plea for sincerity, humility and justice in words and acts.  The powerful opening chorus of BWV 45 features some of Bach's richest and most brilliant polyphony.  Join us for this exceptional rentrée!

 “The cantatas of the Minimes” have been a Brussels institution for 42 years now. Every fourth Sunday of the month, we present the cantatas of J. S. Bach as the Cantor of Leipzig had done in his time. Free admission at 17.00 for a concert of about 45 minutes in the very beautiful church of Saint-Jacques-sur-Coudenberg where the faithful audience will regularly come for a great spiritual and cultural moment.
