Bach Concert - Minimes Cantat

In this month's programme, an early harpsichord concerto becomes a sinfonia and a dramatically expressive chorus in one of Bach's most ambitious cantatas, vividly illustrating the transformation of hardship and suffering to peace and joy. Preceding it, a rare cantata from Sebastian Knüpfer, who held Bach's Leipzig post a half century before the Cantor.
