BBC radio
I have just woken up to discover that my Internet radio can no longer access Radio 4 and Radio 5 Live.
Instead there is a message which says "the BBC no longer provides this service in the windows media format" and advises contacting one's device manufacturer.
I don't think I can survive life as an expat without the Today programme!
Apparently more information is available if you Google 'BBC audio factory windows media' but I don't understand a word of the explanation found there.
Put simply, I am Brussels based and would like to continue to be able to listen to Radio 4 and Radio 5 live (especially the morning programmes). I would gladly pay for this service. Can anyone please advise?

You can listen to BBC radio, watch iplayer etc from Belgium by installing ZenMate or equivalent: https://zenmate.com/
You need to "re-tune" your radio to the Radio 4 and Radio 5 channels that aren't windows media format.
I have a Revo Mundo bought about 5/6 years ago that plays BBC R4 every day.
Don't know how it works on your radio, but on mine, I have a choice of about 3 or 4 different BBC radio 4 feeds in different formats. Just mess around with it a bit checking which channels work.
No need to pay anything extra (unless your internet radio is only capable of playing windows media formatted streams, in which case, just buy a new radio as MON has suggested above).

What about apps? i listen to radio 4 via my smart phone and i too am unable to get radio 4! other BBC stations (1, 2, 3, 4 extra, 5, 6 are all working!)
Any ideas what i can use?

TuneIn Radio is good, gets BBC R4 etc no problem.

Can you confirm that your Pure One Flow Radio is still picking up Radio 4 today on Saturday 14 February? This means it's not picking up BBC radio channels using Windows Media.
