I have an old TV which I presume is analogue, and a few months ago I lost both BBC 1 & 2 although all the other channels were unaffected. Do I need to get a digital TV to receive BBC channels?

I think you need to go digital.
I get BBC only through my digie box from the tv/internet/phone company.
when I turn off the box I get very few channels- analogue is becoming less and less.
