Belgacom TV sound issues

Question

Was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing sound quality issues with Belgacom TV? Ours is occasionally sounding like a warped cassette tape, especially when watching BBC. Have tried everything I can think of to resolve, changed cables, HDMI port, turned off equipment, reset boxes, called them..... They promised to test the line and call back and of course didn't bother!

Thought I would see if anyone else is experiencing anything similar before I call them again and have words!

You can test the quality of your line via the BGC e-services.

IMO, if the image is OK and the sound NOK, the problem lies with the loudspeakers of your TV set.

Mine is the same, I thought it was just my aging TV. The image is fine, but the sound goes strange sometimes.

Nothing wrong with my TV speakers! Apple TV, DVD and Playstation all function properly, as does previously recorded programmes on my decoder. The same noise strange noise comes through our surround sound with the TV speakers off! This is something going on with live broadcasts only!

I have tested the line via our e-services numerous times and they have said yes there is a problem and on other occasions, no it's all fine!
