Belgian man dies at Hungarian electro music festival

A 21-year-old Belgian man died yesterday at the Balaton Sound music festival near Budapest. Marino Keulen, mayor of Lanaken, Limburg province confirmed to the Belga agency that the victim, named as Robin Verwey, was from his town. The event attracts approximately 100,000 visitors each year and turns Zamárdi, a small town on the southern shores of Lake Balaton, into a massive party arena. The Hungarian authorities are investigating the death, the cause of which is still unknown, according to Keulen. The young man's body will be repatriated to Belgium once the investigation is complete.
