belgian resident working outside EU

Question

A friend of mine (with a child) working as independent is moving to US for work for few months, and instead of
de-registering with the commune prefers to keep herself registered as belgian resident for some time duration. She asked me if she can register in my commune using my address for some time. what are the cons of doing this ? can I become liable for the dues she might have working as an independent ? any suggestions !

The cons are that 1) it's not legal, and 2) it's a major disadvantage to her, as she'll still be resident in Belgium, and will therefore have to file all her income here and pay Belgian income taxes on it.
And of course, if she does have any debts, then the baliffs will come and call at your house for them.
