Belgium ID card renewal
Hi,
My ID card expires in a few months time and I was wondering could I have problems having my ID card renewed as I have a 2 year contract job? I am an EU citizen. would I need to have a permanent job to get my ID card renewed? also the job is for an ASBL company who is sponsored by APE (Aides à la promotion de l'emploi - Le Forem). could that cause problems?

You may not be eligible for an APE job, as it may be a condition of your stay that you are not benefit dependent. Answer the first question, and we ought to be able to answer this one.
Having just recently renewed my ID card, Woluwe St Pierre, they did not really even ask any questions about where I was employed.
They printed off the details that was on my old card and asked if it was the same or different. Since last time, I do have a different job but I just said my status was an employee and said I was 'informatician'
