I'm about to take up French lessons and have been offered a student card. I'm just wondering what are the benefits offered to student card holders in Brussels - can I get discounts on public transport, books, anything else?

I live in flanders so I'm not too sure about Brussels.
But it doesn't seem to count for public transport and most bookshops. You do get discounts at museums, some snackbars, expositions, you can use it to get a Kinepolis student card ...
