Bills after moving out of an appartment
Hello!
I moved out from an appartment in February after living there for 4 years. Every year I asked for a summary of the charges, heating etc,but never got anything.
Now 10 months after I moved out and almost 5 years after I moved in the owner sends me a bill of 7000 Euros for heating and water.
What do I do?

I think by law you are entitled to an annual breakdown of costs linked to the monthly charges (clearly very badly calculated if the outstanding amount is E7000). You could start by asking your delightful former landlord to provide you with the invoices from the actual utility provider(s). Or ask to see the originals. Was there a management committee in place in your building? If so, you could approach one of them for the figures. Good luck.
