Born on 15 April 1960? You're invited to king's birthday party

Belgium's King Philippe is inviting 100 members of the public to his birthday bash. But there's one condition: you have to share his birth date.

Any Belgian citizen born on 15 April 1960 can register by email to attend a special 60th birthday ceremony at the royal residence in Laeken.

It will be a bit of a belated party. The festivities will not be held on the birthday itself - but a month later, on the afternoon of Saturday 16 May.

Anyone sharing the king's birthday can email 60@monarchie.be before 6 March. The first 100 registrants who meet the criteria will be sent a formal invite.
