Borrowing your car?

Question

Is there a system in Brussels where one could borrow/rent someone else's car?

CAMBIO car shares,  Cambio points are all over brussels, one at Montgomery, google it & you'll find them.

I already know CAMBIO, thanks. I meant borrowing someone's car for a fee.

If I want to borrow a friend's car, I just do so.  If one of my kids wants to borrow mine, they do so. There is no 'system' involved.

Unless you are asking about borrowing/renting a car from a total stranger.

Im asking about borrowing/renting a car from a total stranger when he/she does not need it. I heard the system exists in Germany and works well.

Not allowed. Insurance cover prohibits it.

Also France has several of these systems, including Drivy, Une Voiture a Louer and Buzzcar. According to their Facebook page Buzzcar are planning to expand to Belgium in the near future.

If you need to hire/borrow car cheaper than at rent a car companies let me know. I have car company in Germany but I can make offer also for Belgium if it's at least for one week.

A complete stranger borrowing my car? You gotta be kidding me! Thrashed to within an inch of it's life and then given back to me, no thanks! LOL
