Bpost tests fitting room for online shoppers
A new post office in Ghent comes with a fitting room - so online shoppers can try the clothes they have bought for size.
Bpost is testing out the facility at its newly opened canalside branch on Nieuwevaart and has received positive feedback so far.
Customers who were not at home to receive their online delivery can pick it up in the post office, check the clothes fit and send them back immediately if they are the wrong size.
Spokesman Piet Van Speybroeck said online shopping deliveries were an important part of Bpost's work, almost doubling since 2013.
Not all post offices will be equipped with fitting rooms, but if the experiment proves successful then other locations could be considered, Bpost added.
