Car-free Sunday: How to get IN from Charleroi
Hey there,
We are landing back in Belgium at lunchtime this Sunday. We land in Charleroi, where the car is. I have understood from the official site and other answers here that there's no chance of us driving back all the way home.
Does anyone know what 'status' the horrible Charerloi bus service has? It's not STIB - but I am presuming it gets one of the exemptions to drive into Midi?
From Charerloi is there a far metro stop accessible that we could park at? If so, will it be impossible to park?

look at the STIB map and decide from that where you'd like to park in order to get in to Brussels.

The speed limit is 20km/h for public transport buses on Sunday in Brussels, so travelling by tram / metro for the last part of the journey will probably be faster than the Charleroi bus coming into Midi.
