car kill switch
Looking to install a kill switch on my old car, as apparently it is very easy for a thief to hotwire .

Any idea where i could get this done? Garage Recommendations?
Pretty easy as a DIY job -- What I have done with mine is fit an electric fuel pump and put in a "switch" on the live feed to that hidden behind a speaker grill. You can also get easy fit "kill switches" that you attach to one of the battery terminals. (they have a small fuse byopassed that will allow radios and clocks to function)
also a "krooklock" on teh steering wheel is a highly visible deterrant.
Another one - is disconnect teh float on teh fuel tank -- then anyone who gets the car going sees a totally empty fuel indicator - though you have to remember what is in there!
