Chauffagiste? (boiler problem)

Not all chauffagiste work for all brands - and the 'not too expensive' is mostly related to your technical problem. I worked in the past 15 years with some different companies and all were reliable. Now at the beginning of the heating period waiting times may apply.
I have a Bulex boiler and a regular service contract with them - if you are renting your rental contract requires the boiler to be serviced annually.

If your problem is low water pressure then you can easily fix that problem yourself in a few minutes.
On the supply pipe each side of the pressure gauge there should be small turncocks. You open both turncocks SLOWLY and you will see the needle on the pressure gauge slowly creep up past the red line. When the needle has passed a little way beyond the red line you close both turncocks, again slowly.
That should clear the low pressure problem. You may need to press a reset button to restart the boiler.
If you bleed any radiators or if there is a tiny, but unimportant, leak in your pipework, you will need to repeat this process from time to time.
