Cheapest way to change a broken glass door

Question

We have a front door to house , part of it is made of glass. The Glass is broken and we need to replace the glass again now.

Last time when this happened, I called a glass company from the neighborhood, who came and took measurements, ordered the glass and replaced it in a couple of week.s They charged around 300 euro for it.

Is there any place like Brico or elsewhere (where I can take the door in car and they will replace it for cheap?

Looking for such shops around WSP or Audherghem, Evere etc, 5 KM Brussels radius)

If you have buildings insurance, which either you as an owner, or your landlord, if you are a tenant, surely must have, you can claim the repair costs from your insurance company.

Thanks CM! I am the owner and we don't want to take the insurance way. There is a deductible of 250 euro to pay for the building insurance. So not taking that route to get back 50 euro from insurance.

So, back to the question:

I know the glass should be 700x 1650 mm and at least 4 mm thick. Is there any place like Brico or elsewhere (where I can take the door in car and they will replace the glass it for cheap?

Brico will cut the glass but I doubt they will put it in. I suggest that you first ask at Brico how much the glass would cost and compare that with the 300 € you previously paid. It might be cheaper to have a carpenter or reliable handyman put it in.
