Child home alone
Hello, Does anyone know at what age is it all right to leave your child home alone? Now I do understand that it is hard to determine the age when all children are able to stay home alone safely. Because children mature at different rates, one must not base your decision on age alone.
What is the law in Belgium concerning this subject, please? Where can I get more information, please?

There is no law - there cannot be as a sensible mature 13 year old surrounded by neighbours they know etc cannot be compared to a 13year old disabled child unable to take themselves to the bathroom alone etc etc. You are expected to use your best judgement (parenting basically!)
I think 15 is the best age to leave them alone but not completely.You should have to give time to them otherwise they tend to fall in some bad company.
