Christmas Markets Germany

Hi all, I was hoping to go to Koln for the Christmas markets in December but when i checked the Thalys and the ICi trains they seem to be all booked up for the Saturdays in December. I wonder is it an option to go somwehere else in Germany that i can go by train.
I have done Brussels Brugge and Luven the past few years so would like to go further.
