Churchill roundabout #7 tram stop
Evening all,
This has bugged me for years, but as I pass through very rarely I have never followed it up. Until tonight. Why do the trams which stop at the Churchill roundabout in Uccle (e.g. tram #7) stop sometimes for an inordinate and inexplicable amount of time and sometimes don’t?
Thanks!

Choreography! The 7 and 10 share the tracks between Churchill (10 terminus) and Vanderkindere (7 terminus).
They're constantly in each other's way and at peak times there's a tram every 3 minutes, so it's congested.
For tram 10 it's easy. There's a loop at Churchill, where two trams can sit, out of the way, until it's their turn to head off again.
Tram 7 however goes to Vanderkindere, then has to immediately reverse back to Churchill to wait in the middle and clear the way for other trams.
