cinema at home

Question

Good afternoon everybody
I ask for your help since I love cinema very much bit have very little possibility to follow the new films as my schedule is a bit strange,
I can find some of the films of course a the super market however I would like to have the possibility to buy or rent films ( videos) from a more specialised and eventually richer source. is there a cinematheque from where i could buy new and old films to watch at home. Unfortunately for pratical reasons I cannot anymore visit the regular cinema halls.
will be very grateful for your help
thanks in advance

The old video store (Image video store for example) are dying out Im afraid. NetFlix is starting in Belgium in May and Belgacom, Voo etc have already a video on demand service.

And if you want to own your collection -- amazon.co.uk is a good source

There's an amazing videoshop in Saint-Gilles where you can rent all types of movies/series/documentaries, from classics to very recent. It's called VideoExpress. You'll find it Chaussée de Waterloo 241.
Otherwise, the flemish library (MuntPunt), on Munt Plein has a good collection too and is very cheap. You have to become a member for 10€ a year and then everything is for free to borrow... http://www.muntpunt.be/home

Can I second the recommendation for Muntpunt. Not only does it have dvds, they also have a good collection of books on film and CDs of soundtracks.

The advantage is that they are free (generally) and you can take them for a week.
