Citizens advice bureau - support for complaint against notary
Question
Hi all, is there a citizens advice bureau equivalent in Brussels?
Our notary made a mistake in calculating all the costs for our mortgage which we were only told about after we became owners.
We had taken out a mortgage that covered the costs, along with the deposit we could provide.
Because of their miscalculation on some costs related to the commune we apparently now owe an additional 2000 euros.

Complaints re Notaires should be made to the President of the Chamber of Notaires of Brussels.
Current president is Hugo Meersman,

If he is the notaire that you are complaining about you are in a bit of pickle..
