Clear Channel wins contract to advertise in Brussels metro entrances

14:34 29/04/2023

Clear Channel has won the Stib tender for the operation of digital screens at the entrances to Brussels’ metro stations for a minimum period of 12 years.

The media agency will roll out 125 digital screens across the entire Brussels metro network in early 2024.

“With this partnership, Clear Channel strengthens its presence in Brussels to provide new communication opportunities to advertisers,” said Clear Channel Belgium managing director Jan De Moor.

The double-sided screens have been created by Belgian designer Axel Enthoven, who previously worked with Clear Channel on bus shelters in Ghent.

In return, Clear Channel has also promised to equip every metro station entrance with a touchscreen that will provide information about the station's surroundings and display the metro timetable in real time.

The agency currently operates more than 10,000 billboards and digital screens across Belgium.
