clogged up chimney

Hi there,
The guys who came to sweep my chimney found out that it is blocked. Unclogging it would entail opening up the chimney itself. I would not care too much and leave it as it is unless it was the output for my heaters and not for the fireplace. They told me that they are overburdened and cannot do the job before... January.
Could anyone recommend me a valid professional that might be available?

I would recommend getting a second opinion. It is very unusual that a chimney cannot be cleaned out without a total dismantle. Try another chimney cleaning company.
I second the second opinion advice -- did they say how it was blocked? loose bricks? a birds nest? Did they shove a camera up there to have alook?
