Coca-Cola Services in Anderlecht to cut a quarter of jobs

At Coca-Cola Services in Anderlecht, 50 to 75 of the 218 jobs will be lost, confirms Tina De Greef of the Christian trade union LBC-NVK. The decision, made on Monday, has to do with European restructuring plans, according to De Greef.

"We've already known about these plans for a couple of months, so we did fear for job losses. But the number of jobs lost is a bit higher than expected," she says. The redundancy plan affects Coca-Cola Services in Anderlecht, which forms part of The Coca-Cola Company.

It is not yet known which departments in Anderlecht are precisely affected by the plan, but more information about the decision will be given during a works council meeting on Friday.
