Coronavirus booster vaccine now available to all over-18s in Brussels
Every Brussels resident aged 18 and over can now receive their autumn booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine - with or without an appointment.
The Brussels booster campaign is being carried out in four vaccination centres - Pachéco, Molenbeek, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and Forest.
While it is possible to turn up to any vaccination centre without an appointment, it is advisable to book a slot online via the Bru-Vax website to avoid unnecessary queuing as centres are already working at almost 80% capacity.
The autumn booster is also available via your general practitioner and in about 60 pharmacies around the Brussels region. They can be found on an interactive map on the coronavirus.brussels website.
Vaccination has been open to all over-18s since 1 October. The campaign began in 12 September with a focus on over-65s, healthcare workers and people with underlying health conditions.
In the last half of September, more than 18,000 doses had already been administered in the Brussels region.
