couperose laser treatment

Question

Has anyone had laser treatment for couperose? I know there are risks, just wanted to have an idea how big those risks are. I don't want to end up with a swollen face or permanent scars.
I've also read that some hermerroid creams can be good for couperose treatment. If anyone has tried this and can recommend me a good brand, please do.
Thanks for any advice!

Hi, I am also considering the laser treatment. My dermatologist referred to a laser center somewhere in Flanders and said I should ask them for the latest treatment option. The laser technology he said is developing rather quickly he said.

I would be interestedin learning more about the side effects and where you read this.

PS What I can also tell me is that cortison skin cream does not help, my las dermatologist had prescribed it...

What laser center is this (and where)? I am going to UZ Jette (Dr Dierckxens, she has a practice on Rue des Nerviens)

Side effects: just google. There are rare cases of bad reactions, where eg your head swells up twice the size... Risk of scarring, risk of depigmentation. It is scary. But the couperose really doesn't look nice, and I am not that old yet...
