Digital photos (For UK passport)
Morning all,
Am planning to renew British passports online (shame the Embassy no longer offers this service). They are rather stringent as to the photos they accept during this process - pics I have taken have been rated as "poor"...
Can anyone recommend a photo shop in Brussels which takes digital pictures that have been successful for a UK passport application?
Cheers.

It is definitely worth it. For as little as £ 6.95 you can have as many goes as you wish.

Literally any photo shop in Belgium will give you photos that are acceptable. All you need is a blank background and (perhaps most important) proper lighting, and you can do it yourself.

ANON, the background has to be cream or light-grey - whereas the standard background for the Belgian authorities is white. Just the UK being awkward yet again.
I did my son's photos myself and they were accepted. They were taken with a white wall as the background, during the daytime and he had to have a neutral expression.
No glasses, no smiling and make sure your scan is sharp. Most photo shops.
