Dinner in the Sky to soar above Antwerp
After stops in Brussels and Namur this year, Dinner in the Sky is enjoying a run in Antwerp from 25-30 September. It’s the second time the event has been staged in the port city.
The event sees a table of 22 diners dangling from a crane 50 metres above the ground. The location is always chosen for its spectacular view, and this time it’s Bolivaarplaats, above Antwerp’s justice palace, one of the city’s architectural highlights.
Four chefs from Antwerp province are taking part; three of them are Michelin-star chefs. The chef heads into the sky with the guests to prepare the five-course meal and serves the guests himself.
Guests can book for lunch or dinner at €285 per person. Champagne precedes the dinner in a ground-level lounge, where guests retired to after dinner for coffee or brandy. Some time slots are already sold out, so book now if you want a place.
