Discount rail travel

Question

My 26 year old niece and boyfriend (also 26) are visiting us soon -- plan is for them to use us as a base and for them to do day trips by rail to various places. Both are students. Ive looked on the SNCB site and it looks as if you can only get "deals" if you are travelling daily on one route -- rather than a different place each day. Also -- there is a "young persons pass -- however as I see it -- it is for UNDER 26 year olds (rather than 26 year olds -- there doesn't seem to be a student offer (unless under 26)

Any ideas? Or they may have a very boring stay

thanks

Susu

Have a look at http://visitbrussels.be
