Does a water softener from the UK work in Belgium?
We are currently renovating a property and our water supply needs a water softener (like our rented house). A family member in the UK has offered the one have installed in a previous house about 4 years old - Permutit I think is the manufacturer) So my dumb question is will a water softener from the UK work in Belgium or does it need some re-configuration because of the difference in the water hardness ? (Plumbing size differences all ready taken care of thanks to this forum). Do not want to go the shenanigans of getting it if it is not suitable. Our budget is very tight so we need to find any reasonable way to cut the costs.
