Dreaming of a month on the beach
I am dreaming of taking a month of parental leave with the kids and staying somewhere remote near a coast. I would like the area to be cheaper and safe. I am thinking of an island off of Croatia. Does anyone have any suggestions or places? It would be nice to be able to drive there to have my own car that month.
Portugal. Good weather, reasonable prices and not too many tourists during Winter

One more thing. English is widely spoken in Portugal and many speak French as well. There are direct flights to Faro in the Summer from Belgium.
