Question

Hi

we are going to change from oil to gaz, and Infrax do not offer the drilling service anymore. We need to drill and looking for someone to do this. Any recommended individuals / companies please?

I changed from oil to gas but I'm not aware of any drilling that had to be done. Can you clarify what you mean. Also, as I've never heard of Infrax, I guess you need to say where in Belgium you are located.

Thank you. we live in steenokkerzeel. infrax are the company that will provide the gaz
connection.
But we were informed that the drilling / digging for tre
nch to pass the pipes from street to our house. we need someone providing the digging service. thanks for your help.

I had the same response from my gas supplier about the trench though they would drill the hole through the wall of the house and they gave the measurements so that I could dig the trench myself.
I spoke to the people who were going to install the actual boiler and asked for their recommendation for the trench and it was the gas supplier who dug it. No-one could explain why I had been told that they would not do it.
Just for your information, the whole thing is done in 3 stages and they don't have to be done immediately one after the other.
The trench has to be dug first; then the supply has to be connected to a meter in the house; finally the boiler has to be installed. You do not pay anything for the meter and connection until you actually start using gas - in my case it was several weeks later.
