Electrabel

Question

I was surfing my account in the Electrabel website and I noticed that my monthly invoice has not been updated since May 2010, probably the last time that the meters were checked by the company.
I would like to avoid the famous “700 Eur unexpected bill” so what is the best approach for this? I live in an apt block with several flats but I do not know if others have the same problems.
Should I go to Electrabel offices with the last figures of gas and electricity asking to review my consumption?
