electric cable for laptop
alternate.be has universal power adapters.
take a look here:
Or you can go to mediamarket and look for a universal adapter and see if they have any. I think I have seen them there.
Also, try elak.be http://www.elak.com/default.aspx
Now, if the universal adapters are too expensive, next thing to do is look at the requirements of the power cord. I googled it up and it says:
- AC Input: 100 ~ 240V 50~ 60Hz
- DC Output: 19V 4.74A 90W
- Connector: 5.5mm * 2.5mm
- http://www.global-laptop-batteries.com/asus-ac-adapter/Asus-G71G-A2-AC-Adapter.html#
- You can try to find computer repair shops and see if they have similar adapters that they don't need anymore.
- I had a toshiba laptop whose power adapter stopped working. Back in the usa, i found computer repair shops and one of them had an hp power cord that had the same requirements as my toshiba laptop. We powered it up and it worked, so i got the power cord for 10 dollars.
- Next bet is ebay, but plenty of computer repair shops in chaussee d'ixelles, in the porte de namur area. Just go up that street and I think i have seen repair shops there where you can see if they have similar power cords (19v 4.74A) and that might be your cheaper bet.
