EU Institutions Employment Rules

Hi

I previously worked as a Seconded Expert for 6 years at the European Commission. I have been in other employment for four years.

There used to be a '6 year rule' that you could not take up (non functionnaire) employment again until 6 years had elapsed.

Am I correct in thinking that the rule has changed and now says something like you cannot be employed for more than 7 years in a 12 year period or something like that??? Anyone know the rule or direct me to the relevant regulation?
