European Summit causing traffic disruption in central Brussels
Brussels Mobility warns of traffic disruption by the European Summit continuing today in the capital, Bruzz reports. "Avoid Brussels by car," the advice reads. A perimeter has been set up around the Schuman area in the European Quarter.
The European summit is taking place in the buildings of the Council of the European Union on Rue de la Loi. The summit has led to diversions in the Reyers tunnel and road closures around Schuman, where a security perimeter has been set up. Traffic jams are expected in the area throughout Friday.
No vehicles are allowed in this zone, except emergency and emergency services and vehicles with authorisation.
