Extra buses to Brussels cemeteries on 1 November
Brussels public transport operator Stib is increasing its bus service to cemeteries on 1 November for All Saints Day.
“Stib is strengthening several bus routes on 1 November so that Brussels residents can easily and smoothly reach cemeteries on All Saints Day using public transport,” the company said.
Several bus lines will be extended, rerouted or reinforced to better serve the various Brussels cemeteries.
Bus lines 59 (Etterbeek-Ixelles Hospital to Bordet Station) and 63 (Central Station - Brussels Cemetery) will be extended to Jules Bordet to smoothly serve the cemeteries of Schaerbeek and Evere.
Route 74 (Uccle Stalle - Clémence Everard) will be diverted between Clover and Eddy Merckx from 8.00 to 16.45 to serve the Chant d'Oiseaux cemetery in Anderlecht,.
Line 77 (Kraainem - Hippodrome), which normally only runs during rush hours on weekdays, will also run on 1 November, from 8.40 to 16.45.
“With this bus, you can easily reach the cemeteries of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert and Etterbeek from Kraainem metro station,” Stib said.
More details about the adjusted timetable can be found on the Stib website or in the app.
