fine for late tax return?

Question

does anyone know if there is a fine for sending in your paper Belgian tax return late? (if it makes a difference; I owe no Belgian taxes because I had no income in Belgium in 2014 and am single with no children)

alternately, does anyone know where an e-card reader can be purchased? I have a Belgian perm resident e-card and understand I can file electronically until 15 July, but I don't have and am not sure where to buy or request a home e-card reader.

Your local tax office will help you complete it -- and if nothing to enter -- the visit will be very fast ---

If you have an eID card you are considered to be resident here, so on the assumption that you had some income somewhere you may well have some Belgian tax to pay for 2014. You need to read the booklet accompanying the form very carefully.

And if you play the "not actually resident" card, you risk getting a formal letter from the commune where you are registered telling you to return the ID.
