First ladies to visit Magritte, Delvaux and Laeken
While their partners are attending the NATO summit on Thursday, first ladies Melania Trump, Brigitte Macron and Emine Erdogan will visit three 'typical Belgian' locations in Brussels: the Magritte Museum, a Delvaux boutique and the Royal Greenhouses, writes Bruzz.
The partners of the government leaders will be accompanied by Prime Minister Charles Michel's wife, Amélie Derbaudrenghien, and Ingrid Schulerud, the wife of NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg.
The first stop on the agenda is the Magritte Museum (pictured), where Michel Draguet, Director of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts, will lead the special guests on a private tour. The group will then visit a boutique of Delvaux, the famous Belgian handbag brand established in 1829.
The first ladies will close out their Brussels tour with a visit to the Royal Greenhouses in Laeken accompanied by Queen Mathilde, followed by dinner at the Royal Palace.
