Foreign bank account
Question
I am in the possession of a Lux bank account after having worked there.
What kind of information about this account should I give the Belgians?/What do they have access to?
Is it suspicious if I have such an account? Is it best not to tell them?
If I do, can they use the info to get the money in it (If they think I owe them money for tax or something)
Don't tell them a thing and don't sign up to anything paying from that account locally.
Not once have I had to use my home account or even been asked for it for any reason, just open up a new one and you'll be right.
I have no idea what they can and cant do but I have had no issues.
