From 22 to 28 November, ExAequo, the non-profit organisation that promotes sexual health among homosexual and bisexual men, will organise free HIV, syphilis and hepatitis C tests in Brussels and Wallonia.

"In Belgium, gay and bisexual men are still disproportionately affected by HIV,” the association said. “They still accounted for nearly half of all new infections in 2019."

The tests are available daily during the week beginning 22 November and are free of charge and anonymous. For such a test, only one drop of blood is needed. In addition, the tests give immediate results. The association advocates "taking the time to discuss prevention and sexual health, without prejudice and in complete confidentiality".

Information on where testing takes place can be found on the ExAequo website.
